Does anyone have a good recipe for pasta with chicken and broccoli?

INGREDIENTS


3 tablespoons olive oil


1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch pieces


1 tablespoon chopped onion


2 cloves garlic, chopped


2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes


2 cups fresh broccoli florets


salt and pepper to taste


1 pinch dried oregano


18 ounces dry penne pasta


1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips


2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese





DIRECTIONS


In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil and add chicken; cook until slightly brown. Add onion and garlic to cook for about 5 minutes or until garlic is golden and onions are translucent.


Add tomatoes, broccoli, salt, pepper and oregano; stir well and bring to a boil. Cover and turn down heat to simmer for about 10 minutes.


Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender; drain and add back into pot. Pour chicken sauce into pot and mix well.


Add basil and toss well; top with Parmesan cheese. Serve.

Pasta With Chicken in Creamy Garlic Sauce


2 cups shell pasta


2 tablespoons canola oil


4 boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed


4 cups milk


3 tablespoons flour


3 tablespoons butter or margarine


2-3 minced garlic clove


1 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon pepper


1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


1/3 cup frozen peas or broccoli (optional)





Boil pasta in lightly salted water.





Fry chicken in canola until lightly browned, set aside.





In large pot saut茅 garlic in butter or margarine, do not brown.





Add flour, salt, pepper to garlic and butter or margarine and mix to form a roux.





Slowly add milk, whisking to prevent lumps.





Add parmesan cheese and mix well.





Cook over medium heat stirring often until sauce thickens.





Add chicken to the sauce.





Drain cooked pasta and mix into sauce.





Serve immediately.

Boil your pasta, bake your chicken, steam your broccoli, etc.


Make a white sauce; alfredo, mushroom soup, or cheese sauce.


Drain the pasta, diced the chicken, cut up the broccoli.


Put everything in a casserole dish %26amp; bake at 400F until bubbly.


Top with grated cheese %26amp;/or cracker crumbs.

I make it at least once a week at my house.... The kids love broccoli smothered in alfredo!!!
Use Alfredo sauce if you are going to add chicken and broccoli- all else will be gross.
Olive Oil, garlic and parmesan Doesn't take much to make it good.
