I need a recipe for 3 cheese chicken penne pasta that does not have spinach or marinara in it.?

Every single recipe I've been able to find has spinach or marinara in it. Am looking for a recipe somewhat like what Applebee's serves, with all white cheeses.I need a recipe for 3 cheese chicken penne pasta that does not have spinach or marinara in it.?
Try replacing the marinara sauce with a bechamel (assuming you want an all-white dish). Sauteed mushrooms or diced onions might be nice, so there's at least some veggie content.


Bechamel goes wonderfully with cheese (thus making a Mornay sauce) - see the link for a step-by-step. You can make a very good cream sauce to pour over it just melt 3 table spoons of butter add 3 tablespoons of flour mix until no lumps add milk slowly about 2 cups add white cheeses like parm white Cheddar MZ asiago they all have good flavors then add any veggies if you want or fry up some onions and garlic and add that to it I'm sure you will love it..
if everything else about the recipe sounds good leave out the spinach. it will not affect the final result. you can not however do the same with the marinara
